Hellenic Society of Emergency Prehospital Care (HSEPC, https://eeepf.gr/) was established in 2008 in Thessaloniki Greece. It is a non-profit and non-governmental scientific society, addressed to all health care workers (medical doctors, paramedics, Emergency Medical Technicians, nurses, medical volunteers) which are active in the field of Emergency Pre-Hospital Care and General Emergency Medicine in general.was established in 2008 in Thessaloniki Greece. The main objectives of HSEPC are:
Encouraging and promoting theoretical and practical education and training in the subject of emergency pre-hospital care.
To promote and improve the level of knowledge and skills of all health actors as doctors, nurses and EMTs/rescuers who are employed or are engaged in any way in the field of pre-hospital emergency care, through the organization of lectures, seminars, conferences and educational programs.
The promotion of study and research on the organization and operation of emergency prehospital care systems, prehospital resuscitation and treatment of critically ill or injured, design addressing massive casualties from natural disasters or not and accident prevention.
Promoting collaboration and exchange of scientific knowledge and information related to the subject of emergency pre-hospital care with other relevant local and international companies and institutions.
To contribute to the development of clinical standards, protocols and guidelines for the implementation of emergency pre-hospital care.
The acceptance and success of all of our events has greatly guaranteed the success of the continuation of our objectives but, above all, we are entrusted with new responsibilities to improve the quality of our programs and to attract new audiences to the creative collaboration and cooperation of all the people who give the battle in the emergency, by his position and his own abilities.
Our Clinical courses are addressed to all categories of healthcare professionals, other government officials, volunteers and citizens who are involved in any way in the initial treatment of the severely or injured person at the place of the event, in the Agricultural Clinic, in the Health Center, in Emergency Rooms or in the Hospitals.

Dr. Marietta Pateinioti is a graduate of Universitatea de Medicina si Farmacie Timisiora Romania. She was specialized in Internal Medicine in “Agios Andreas” Hospital of Patras and she obtained the title of Intensive Care Unit Doctor in “Tzaneio “Hospital of Piraeus. She is a master degree holder in Global Health and Disaster Medicine from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. and she is Emergency Prehospital Medicine Trained from EKAB (Hellenic National Center for Emergency Care). She is the Director of ICU of Chios Island General Hospital. She is also ERC BLS/AED Course Director/ Instructor Trainer, ERC ALS Provider/ Instructor Potential
He is a graduate of the Hellenic Open University of Computer Science and he is a candidate for MSc Analysis and Management of Manmade and Natural Disasters at Greek International University and Greek Fire Academy. He has been trained as EMT Rescuer -Paramedic from Public Vocational Training Institute of Hellenic National Center for Emergency Care (EKAB), Athens (GREECE) and as Assistant Nurse Traumatologist from Public Vocational Training Institute, Nea Ionia Athens (GREECE) He was working as EMT-I / Rescuer at EKAB from 1990 until 2020 and now is working as a computer scientist in the Computer Department of EKAB. He is member of the Special Unit for Disaster Medicine and he has been trained as an expert by European Union Civil Protection Mechanism. He is ERC BLS/AED Course Director/Instructor Trainer, ILS Provider/Instructor Potential, NAEMT, PHTLS Instructor/Provider, TFR Instructor/Provider, Bleeding Control Instructor/Provider, ETC Trainer, Vocational training institute instructor, and Certificate adult trainer on non-formal education.
